| Wappan is among the most efficient and productive farms in Victoria, with only two full time people looking after 16 000 sheep and 350 head of cattle. A tight organised operation is run five days of the week with Saturday and Sundays off. Depending on what time of year you come there is plenty to do and see on Wappan. Guests are welcome to come and view whatever farm operation is taking place. Shearing occurs three times a year and is always high on the Agenda of many guests, especially children. We also encourage our guests to venture up one of our many hills for a glowing view of Mount Buller and enjoy a panoramic view of Lake Eildon. Amongst the company of merino sheep and cattle, visitors have been known to spot a kangaroo, koala or an echidna on their travels. |
